You put on high heels and you change. – Manolo Blahnik

I’m not the kind of girl who is always looking for a new pair of shoes. Going to a shoe store or a shoe department can be a little overwhelming for me even though I always want to quickly browse through. To me, shoes are an investment. Once you reach a certain age, your feet are going to stay the same size, so you don’t run the risk of out growing your shoes. I love that. You can gain or lose as much weight as you want and your shoes still fit!

Here are some of my favorite trends right now

Platform/Stiletto – Charles Jourdan

Suede/Velvet – Tory Burch

Wedges – Diane Von Furstenberg

Peep Toe – Jessica Simpson

Nude – Enzo Angiolini

Bold Color – Christian Louboutin

So we all know wearing heels can be brutal. Here are some tricks for keeping your feet happy.

Fetish Shoe Care Gel Cushions for the ball of the foot

Band-Aid Friction Block Stick

Rub on places you think you might get a blister

Keep a pair of flats with you small enough to fit in your purse

Take a look at my favorite shoe website!

I don’t know who invented the high heel, but all women owe him a lot. – Marilyn Monroe
